Our models are our students. They provide a natural representation of our products. There are no edits or air brushes.
The Sheffield Store only sells ethically sourced cotton.
The minimum standard of our cotton is WRAP, worldwide responsible accredited production. This is an independent certification ensuring manufacturing is ethical. WRAP offers protection against forced and child labour. It prohibits harassment and abuse complying with local laws offering compensation and benefits. Where possible we offer a higher standard of cotton, please read your product descriptions for more information. Higher standards of cotton and manufacturing processes include fair trade, carbon neutral production, organic cotton, recycled cotton and the highest standard we're aware of fair share. Fair share is organic fair trade cotton processed in a living wage factory.

Terms & Conditions
All payments on this website are in GBP pounds (£ sterling).
Under Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000, you, the customer, have a 7 day "cooling off" period from the day the the goods are received. Within this cooling off period you have the right to cancel the contract with Sheffield Store and are entitled to a full refund, including any original delivery charges. If you wish to cancel please contact us by phone or by email.
If the goods have already been dispatched during this 7 day period and you have a "change of heart" then the return delivery costs will be bourn by you, the customer. However, if there is a fault, the return delivery costs will be bourn by Our Sheffield as the merchant.
After the cooling off period, if you are not fully satisfied with your purchase, items can be returned with a full refund within 28 days of receiving your goods. We cannot accept returns after 28 days has elapsed. Items must be in a condition fit for re-sale (clean, unused with tags/packaging). Please send either a copy of your receipt or your online order number with the item. Items are returned at the cost of the customer. Refunds will be made to the original card used to make the purchase. The money should appear in the account within 10 days of the refund being issued. The cost of the initial postage can not be refunded for returned items.

All refunds will be made back to the original payment method and card used.
We ship within the UK and Internationally. All items are posted via Royal Mail. UK delivery is charged at a flat rate of £4.50 regardless of the product(s) ordered. All UK orders are posted Second Class Standard. Deliveries will normally be received within 5 working days.
For orders outside the UK, the customer may choose between International Standard or International Tracked and Signed delivery. The cost of each is automatically calculated based on weight and destination.
Please note, there is a 2kg limit per parcel with Royal Mail. If your order weighs more than that, we may have to send the order in two or more packages. For enquiries about posting heavier orders please email firstname.lastname@example.org.
At certain times of the year, for example Easter weekend and the period of time between Christmas and New Year, the Students' Union building will be closed and no staff will be available to process orders. Please be patient around these times and allow for any delays if ordering items required in a specific time frame.
Where's my order?
You will receive an email notification when your order has been shipped. We expect UK deliveries to arrive 2-3 working days after shipping, deliveries to Europe to arrive 3-5 working days after shipping and deliveries to the rest of the world to arrive 6-7 working days after shipping.
Unfortunately, sometimes orders can be delayed, especially when they need to go through customs in other countries. We ask customers to please be patient if their order is taking longer than expected. In the rare instance, when an order does not arrive, we will be able to declare it lost. In these instances, we can either ship the order out again or offer a full refund. Parcels can be declared lost 10 working days after the due date for UK orders, 20 working days after the due date for orders to Europe and 25 working days after the due date for orders to the rest of the world.

Please be aware that whilst the Sheffield Store website is available 24/7 the Physical store and staff only work the hours the physical store is open (9am-5.30pm Mon-Fri, 10am-3pm Saturday during University Term and Mon-Fri 10am-3pm during University vacation). Orders placed outside of these hours will be dealt with the next working day.
Click & Collect Orders
Sheffield Students' Union Store, SSUS, will hold the order for 14 days. If the order is uncollected the customer will be contacted via email reminding them of their purchase. The customer will have 7 days to respond and advise. Once 21 days have expired and SSUS have not heard from the customer the order will be refunded.
*If you are self-isolating and are therefore unable to collect your order within the above constraints we will hold your order for you.* Please get in touch with us and provide a date range for when collection is possible.
Any card information collected during the purchasing of product is not retained by Sheffield Students' Union. Any contact details you provide will only be used to process the order and will not be sold or given away to any third parties. This includes your email addresses, physical address and phone number. Your contact information will be securely held by Sheffield Students' Union in order to complete your order. During the checkout process you may request for your email address to be used for marketing purposes. Marketing of this nature will only come from Sheffield Students' Union and your email will not be passed to any third parties. Sheffield Students' Union may periodically notify you of offers and new products available from this online store. You may unsubscribe from this marketing at any time.
Website Pricing Errors
Sheffield Students' Union will not be bound by any incorrect pricing for any products on this website.
Certain products are excluded from use with Discount Codes - these include, but are not limited to, Sale items, Society Orders, Students Union Life Membership & Shipping Costs.
Out of Stock Items
As we operate both a physical and online retail store, from time to time there may be errors in stock level availability on the website.
If you have ordered an item that is no longer in stock when the order is processed we will contact you via email to give you the following options:
Substitute the missing item for another size/colour in the same style
Wait for the item to come back in stock to fulfil the order (if we have a date stock is due in)
Cancel all or part of the order for a refund to the original payment method.
In the case that the item you have ordered and is unavailable is end of line and will not be restocked we will immediately refund that part of your order to the original payment method, and then contact you to make you aware of this and see if you would like to proceed with the rest of your order or not.
